The second major area on the front page where artists’ works are displayed for around 30 seconds. (I’d like all contributions to be accessible in this way, whether they be video, stills or music files. Id like it so if you click on an image it directs you to the artist/s who did that work. And I’d like that only images that can been seen clearly and “proffectionally” can be put on…. does that make sense? Actually I’d like this format on every page? But, that might be to much time loading?)

this sounds nice. i think it should look like a sausage-making machine that goes from left to right, or right to left, so you get to see everything scroll past. or maybe a sushi caterpillar belt.

Q- do the images need to be a particular format/size/programme?

probably best to resize them to fit, and make sure they’re within a reasonable certain range. video you’ll need to be specific about. i quite like the anarchy media player plugin for this because you just link to the file, and it fairly intelligently sorts the embedding out for most reasonable file types.

All this category related data could be put into each artist’s database entry, so if s/he had something to put in the calendar then it would go onto the main calendar.

2. Background/Layout: I’d like a buzzie bee mouse arrow! Is that possible? I just don’t know! Colours: red, black, white and a watermark background, maybe designed like the flyer.

Q- where can I put up a pic. of the flyer so you know what im talking about?

you know, rachael and i just yesterday realised those shadows aren’t BOXING GLOVES but rather BUZZY BEES. i thought it was the Aries in you coming forth Bex.
